Grape varieties and vinification
Spätburgunder is documented for Sonnhohle. For a Spätburgunder associated with Weil am Rhein, the grapes were hand-harvested, fermented spontaneously with whole berries, and aged for 24 months in used barriques. A Rümmingen wine is also documented as Gutedel from Sonnhohle.
Rümminger Gutedel
For the municipal anniversary in 2017, a special edition called Rümminger Gutedel Sonnhohle was documented in Rümmingen. It was produced by Weingut Frick for the municipality.
