Wines and maturation
From harvested grapes (lesegut) from the Fischingen vineyard, among other things white wines and Pinot Noir are produced. Weingut Brenneisen markets its wines, starting with the 2006 vintage, as Badischer Landwein. The vines are farmed all year round according to the requirements of the respective grape variety and site; since 2020, Quessant sheep have been used.
The wines generally mature in wooden casks and on the lees. An exception is the base Gutedel, which is matured in stainless-steel tanks. The winery states that it does not use fining agents and that it matures its wines vegan.
