Graukatz is an officially registered single vineyard site in the cadastral area of Kalkofen in the wine-growing region of Nahe.

In the wine sites directory for the state of Rhineland-Palatinate for the 2024 vintage, Graukatz is listed under the wine sites register code 511359. The area is given there as “k.A.”
Historical development
Since 1971, Graukatz belonged to the vineyard site designations in Kalkofen, which could continue to be used despite older field names that had not been included in the vineyard sites directory. After the designation Paradiesgarten was discontinued in 1988, Graukatz remained. In September 2025, Graukatz was described as the only remaining vineyard site designation still existing in Kalkofen.
