The Deutschordensberg is a vineyard site in Röllbach in the Churfranken area of the quality wine region Franken. In the official Bavarian list of vineyard sites, the site is assigned to the Miltenberg district.
Geological subsoil
The Deutschordensberg belongs to the vineyard sites at the Mainviereck, which are located on red Buntsandstein.
Documented wine
A documented dry red wine cuvée from the Röllbacher monopoly Deutschordensberg is made from Blauburger and Zweigelt. The 2021 vintage has 12.5% vol. alcohol, 0.7 g/l residual sugar and 5.4 g/l total acidity.
Official designation
Deutschordensberg is listed as an official vineyard site by the Bavarian State Government and is thus, within the scope of the Bavarian register of vineyard sites, a permitted geographical designation for corresponding quality wines.
