Sites and Wine Style
The site Köhler is assigned in the Bavarian vineyard directory for Dingolshausen with Bischwind as the associated municipal district in the Steigerwald wine panorama. The name goes back to an old field area which locally is regarded as the first vineyard site of the municipality; the story of a Köhler as the planter of the first vine is described as a legend. In the local wine-growing area, full-bodied Steigerwald wines as well as quality wine and predicate wine are produced, including Kabinett, Spätlese and Auslese.
