Weinhecke is a legally defined single vineyard in the Kraichgau, an area of the quality winegrowing region Baden. The official designation names Bruchsal and Ubstadt.
Wine-Law Classification
The single vineyard Weinhecke is assigned to the Großlage Mannaberg in the Kraichgau area. In an official classification from 2024, the Bruchsal cadastral plots 3879, 3880, 4167 and 24641 were assigned to the single vineyard Weinhecke and the Großlage Mannaberg.
Historical Documentation
The name Weinhecke is documented in the Baden-Württemberg regulations on vineyard classification at least since 1987.
Documented Wine
A documented wine from the 2019 vintage with the designation Bruchsaler Weinhecke was produced from Riesling and matured as a dry Kabinett wine.
