History
Wiesenbronn acquired the area designated as Wachhügel, according to the municipality’s historical records, during territorial disputes between 1574 and 1818. Red wine cultivation began in Wiesenbronn in 1947; Portugieser and Domina were subsequently planted in larger quantities in the municipality’s vineyards.
