It is described as deep-rooting, light loam with clayey silty matter, high water storage capacity available to plants, adequate aeration, richness in nutrients, calcareousness and good root penetration. A local description also mentions marl and clayey loam.

The official site profile links the wines with yellow-fruit aromas of apple, peach, pear and citrus. The style is described as slender and refreshing with mild acidity, medium-strong structure and early drinking ripeness.
