Winemaking

The wines Birkweiler Rosenberg Chardonnay and Siebeldingen Rosenberg Weißburgunder from the winery Dr. Wehrheim are vinified dry. For both wines, the winery documents yield-reducing measures in the vineyard and selective hand-harvesting. The Weißburgunder is fermented with temperature control and developed reductively in stainless steel; the Chardonnay ferments in French or Palatinate oak barriques and is then aged for ten months.
