Bienengärtchen is exposed to the sun and has a gradient of 60 per cent. In the steep hillside, manual work is required; for this, a traditional rope winch and a bench plough are used.

In Bienengärtchen, red Riesling is grown. A documented biodiversity project links vines with cover crop plants, fruit trees, bee colonies and insect hotels.
History and Wine
According to the vineyard manager, the parcel has been in the family’s ownership for more than 300 years. According to family tradition, monks from Ravengiersburg used parcel 1574 as one of their best plots. From the site, a dry white wine with the designation Monzinger Rosenberg Roter Riesling is documented.
