Location and classification
Rosenberg is an officially registered wine-growing site in the district of Cölln in Mannweiler-Cölln. In the wine sites register for the 2024 vintage, the site is listed under number 511362 with an area of 1.5 hectares. It belongs to the Qualitätsweinbaugebiet Nahe.
Soil and cultivation
The Cölln Rosenberg lies in the Alsenztal directly opposite the Hahnmühle. The documented soil is heavy sandstone weathering-derived soil.
Grape varieties and wine
A documented plot is planted with a mixed planting of Riesling and Red Traminer. Both grape varieties grow together in a single plot and are picked and processed together. Among other things, this results in a dry white wine, which is marketed as German Qualitätswein.
