Name and vinification
The name is derived from Lindhalden, a former settlement documented since about 1360, whose area is now covered by vineyards. For a documented Lindhälder Spätburgunder, the grapes were hand-harvested, cold macerated for a week and fermented spontaneously in the must. The ageing lasted around one year on fine lees in used barriques.
