Location and history
The former vineyard Lämmerberg lay above the Lämmermühle near Aub in the Franconian winegrowing region of Bavaria. The vineyard site was on a south-facing hillside.
Development of the wine site
Wine-growing was carried out at this location in the past. In the 1980s, under the name Lämmerberg, an attempt was made to revive wine-growing, but it was unsuccessful.
Current classification
The former vineyard terraces are today taken up by trees and meadows, rather than documented, active vines. Aub–Lämmerberg is listed in Bavaria’s vineyard directory in the area not assigned to any large wine-growing region of the Franconian winegrowing region.
