Location and context
Hohenbühl, the Seinsheimer Hohenbühl wine site, is located in Seinsheim in the wine paradise within the wine-growing region Franken. In the Bavarian vineyard register, the site is assigned to the area Wine Paradise and the large site Frankenberger Schloßstück.
Terrain, climate and soils
The vineyard areas extend over around 40 hectares on the Kapellenberg at an altitude of about 280 to 350 metres above sea level. Hohenbühl lies at the foot of the Bullenheimer Berg area and can be seen from the viewpoint Seinsheim. The local climate is described as dry and mild; the soils consist of Keuper, more specifically Gipskeuper.
Grape varieties and wines
In Hohenbühl, white and red wines are produced. The documented white grape varieties include Müller-Thurgau, Silvaner, Bacchus, Traminer, Weißburgunder, Grauburgunder, Scheurebe, Riesling and Chardonnay. Among the red grape varieties, Domina, Dornfelder, Regent and Merlot are represented.

The winegrowing association Seinsheim, founded in 1977, presents wines from the Hohenbühl site.
