Fuchsloch

Location and classification

Fuchsloch is a legally defined single vineyard site in the wine-growing region Pfalz, in the Mittelhaardt/Deutsche Weinstraße area, and as part of the Großlage Hofstück. The vineyard site extends across municipality and cadastral boundaries over Rödersheim-Gronau and Hochdorf-Assenheim.

Delimitation and area data

The official boundary description names the cadastral districts of Rödersheim, Gronau and Hochdorf. The wine sites directory 2024 lists for Fuchsloch under Rödersheim-Gronau 54.8 hectares of planted vineyard area and characterises the site as a single vineyard site that extends across cadastral boundaries.

Legal status

Fuchsloch bears the official wine site number 82 05 09. The vineyard site was included in the designation decision of 22 June 1971. Its boundary description was revised in 2025 for wine-growing reasons and is based on an earlier description from 8 August 2019.
