Location and classification
The vineyard site Fischer lies north of Frickenhausen am Main in the Franconian wine-growing region Franken. To the west, it borders the Frickenhausen Kapellenberg in the Uppental.
Aspect and soils
The site, which is oriented from south-south-west to south, has slope gradients of around 20 to 45 percent. The vineyards are planted on shell limestone soils.
Area and grape varieties
The single-vineyard site Fischer comprises around 37 hectares of planted vineyard area. The most important grape varieties listed are Silvaner, Müller-Thurgau, Riesling and Traminer. Fischer is listed for Frickenhausen as a single-vineyard site within the Großlage Markgraf Babenberg.
