Ehrenberg is a vineyard site in Leonberg in the wine-growing region Württemberg. The vineyard slopes lie along the Glemstale.
Topography and Soil
The site includes steep slopes. The terroir is described as loess and clay over a calcareous subsoil.
Cultivation
On the steep vineyard plots, the grapes are harvested by hand and carried downhill to an access road.
History and Single Site
The vineyard has been documented since the 16th century. The Württemberg vineyards register combines the areas Eltinger Ehrenberg and Leonberger Ehrenberg under a single designation for a named single site.
