Castellberg is a legally designated single vineyard site in the Kaiserstuhl within the Baden wine-growing region Baden. The site is assigned to the municipalities of Achkarren and Ihringen; the proportion from Achkarren is associated with Vogtsburg im Kaiserstuhl.

Landscape and soils

Castellberg is described as a vineyard terraces site. For the Achkarren Castellberg, loess clay soils as well as loess and volcanic weathered soils are mentioned. The vineyards benefit from many hours of sunshine.
