Landscape and soils
The vineyards of Langenbrettach lie on steep, sun-exposed slopes. The documented wine-growing areas include the Gewann Hornberg to the south of Brettach and the Gewann Himmelreich to the south-west of Langenbeutingen.
In the south of the municipality, including the area south of the Brettach valley, Gipskeuper occurs, locally with loess cover. In addition, Muschelkalk and Unterkeuper are exposed.
Viticulture
