History and nature education trail
In Raumbach, wine-growing was previously prominent, but declined as a result of agricultural mechanisation and structural changes. A paved road connection between Meisenheim and Martinstein was built by Raumbach in 1846 and improved year-round connections between the settlements. The local nature education trail leads from the Schwalbennest in the direction of the Raumberg and includes a steep ascent.
