Location
Bubenheim is a municipality in Donnersberg district (Landkreis Donnersbergkreis) in Rhineland-Palatinate and lies in the Violental valley. The municipality extends on both sides of the Ammelbach at an altitude of about 200 metres.
Winegrowing
On the slopes of the Violental valley, wine is grown in Bubenheim in limited quantities. The vineyard Hahnenkamm comprises around eight hectares and is an individual vineyard in Bubenheim within the Großlage Schnepfenflug from the Zellertal.
Church
The Romanesque church of St Peter has an inscription that points to its construction in 1163.
