Location
Sonnenberg is designated as a named vineyard site in the municipality of Pfinztal in Baden. The area covers a site near Berghausen as well as a south-facing forest edge close to Wöschbach.
Historic vineyard areas
In the area around Wöschbach, earlier vineyard terraces are documented, which were later converted predominantly into orchards.
Current land use
Some former vineyard plots have been abandoned and are subject to ecological succession. In doing so, among other things, tall-growing herbs and shrubs spread.
