Historic cultivation
For the conversion of the vineyards from hybrid vines to grafted vines, Müller-Thurgau was documented as the recommended grape variety for the Rotenbusch Gewann. The intended vines were to be planted at a spacing of 1.20 metres by 1.00 metre, corresponding to around 84 to 85 vines per Ar.
