The official vineyard site directory 2024 lists 79.0 hectares of planted vineyard area in the cadastral district of Hergersweiler and 6.3 hectares in the cadastral district of Winden. In 2020, the description of the site spanning multiple municipalities was revised following a review of the vineyard site directory, the EU wine-growing database and the cadastral data. In the process, built-up areas and agricultural areas not used for viticulture were removed from the earlier description; the delimitation of the planted vineyard area remained unchanged.
