Location and classification
Mönchsbuck is a legally registered vineyard site in the Ortsteil Neundorf of Sugenheim in the Neustadt an der Aisch-Bad Windsheim district. The vineyard site belongs to Franken and lies in the area of the Mittelfränkische Bocksbeutelstraße.
Geology and area
Mönchsbuck has been documented as a Gypsum Keuper site. The listed vineyard area in 2019 was about three hectares. The mapped polygon lies approximately at 49.62404° north latitude and 10.40985° east longitude.
Historic cellars
The historic beer and ice cellars at Mönchsbuck in Neundorf were laid out around 1870. The cellars, which are connected to each other, extend about 40 metres down the slope.
