Location and classification
The Marienpforter Klosterberg is a legally recognised single vineyard site in Waldböckelheim in the Nahe. It lies in the western vineyard area of the Waldböckelheim cadastral district, close to the border with Bad Sobernheim.
Legal delimitation
The current legal description is based on the delimitation of the wine-growing area from the year 2000. In the official register of wine-growing areas for 2024, the Marienpforter Klosterberg is listed under wine-growing area number 511161 as an approved name for a single vineyard site.
Documented wines
For wines with the exact designation of origin Waldböckelheim Marienpforter Klosterberg, Sauvignon Blanc is documented. Dry wines are evidenced, as well as a historical vintage from 1982 as an edelsüße Optima Auslese.
