Location
The vineyard, which is run under the name Margarete, is documented as Michelbacher Margarethe. The single vineyard site is located near Michelbach am Wald within the city limits of Öhringen in the Hohenlohe district, Baden-Württemberg.
The vineyard lies around 3 kilometres south west of Neuenstein and roughly 5 kilometres south east of Öhringen.
Wines and grape varieties
From the Michelbacher Margarethe, wines made from Samtrot, Lemberger and Sauvitage are documented. Earlier records also mention Bacchus and Pinot Gris.
Documented wine styles are dry Sauvitage, dry Lemberger and semi-dry Samtrot.
