Location and classification
Liebehöll is an officially registered wine-growing site in Münster-Sarmsheim in the Nahe wine region Nahe in the state of Rhineland-Palatinate. The registered vineyard area comprises 10.6 hectares.
Topography and soils
The site is located on a slope facing east and features steep vineyards. It lies at an altitude of about 120 to 180 metres. The soils documented are sandy loam and loess.
Documented wine
From Liebehöll, a delicately off-dry Gewürztraminer is documented, which the producer classifies as a white wine with a delicate residual sweetness. For this wine, hand and machine harvesting are combined; fermentation and ageing take place in refrigerated stainless-steel tanks.
