Locally, Juffermauer is counted among the steep vineyards of Karden. The vineyards of Karden lie on the left bank of the Moselle directly on steep slopes. The 2024 vineyard register lists 1.6 hectares of planted vineyard area for Juffermauer.
Grape Variety and Wine Styles
In the vineyards of Karden, including Juffermauer, Riesling is grown above all. Documented wines from the site include dry Riesling Qualitätswein, delicately off-dry Riesling Spätlese and Riesling Hochgewächs.
