Location and classification
Höchstes Kreuz is an officially documented wine-growing site in the municipality of Feilbingert in the wine-growing region of Nahe. The Rheinland-Pfalz wine sites directory lists the individual vineyard for the year 2024 with an area of 3.9 hectares. Within the greater site, it is assigned to Paradiesgarten.
Aspect and soils
The site, which faces south-east, has sandy loam and weathered porphyry rock.
Wine style and history
The municipality of Feilbingert describes the wines from Höchstes Kreuz as varietal-typical and elegant. The Grünewald winery documents the acquisition of vineyards in the Feilbingerter site of Höchstes Kreuz from the 1950s onwards.
