Grape varieties and cultivation
In the Kreuznacher Himmelgarten, there are over 50-year-old Pinot Gris vines. Parcels in the Ippesheimer Himmelgarten, according to information from a winery operating there, are planted exclusively with Pinot Gris and Riesling. Johanninger, according to his own information, has been working since 1997 in accordance with guidelines for environmentally friendly viticulture and cultivates a Pinot Gris parcel in the Kreuznacher Himmelgarten.
