Location and soils
Hardt is a named wine-growing site in Weikersheim in the wine-growing region of Württemberg. The vineyard area is characterised by Muschelkalk soils.
Historical significance
Hardt belonged to the best wine sites cultivated by the residents of Queckbronn on the territory of the town of Weikersheim. In good vintages, the wine could achieve a very high quality and be sold beyond the local surroundings. From the 1850s onwards, winegrowing declined.
Wine
For the site, a red Tauberschwarz Cuvée is documented under the name „Weikersheimer Hardt Tauberschwarz Cuvée“.
