Historic site
On the east side of the Münsterberg, a Franciscan monastery was founded in 1302. The convent buildings were completed in 1325, and the monastery church in 1332. In 1793, the monastery was dissolved and destroyed.
Creation of the garden
The current garden recalls the former monastery. It was created from 2012 through civic, voluntary work on the historic site and was opened in 2018 as a public garden.
