Location and classification
The Flatterberg is a designated single-vineyard site in the wine-growing region Württemberg, in the Kocher-Jagst-Tauber area and within the Großlage Kocherberg. The official designation includes the Forchtenberger Flatterberg. The site is located near Forchtenberg.
Historical mention
The field name Flatterberg is documented on a historic cadastral map from 1833, which covers the areas of Forchtenberg and Muthof.
Dry stone walls
Dry stone walls in the area of the Flatterberg were restored by the town of Forchtenberg. The continuation of the restoration work was approved for 2021.
