Location and context
Feuerbach is a named vineyard site in Castell in the wine-growing region Franken. The site, which faces north-west and north, has a documented slope of around 15 to 30 percent.
Soil and vineyard area
The vineyard is located on Gipskeuper, a gypsum-containing Keuper formation. For the year 1993, an area of around four hectares is documented.
Grape varieties and wine law
As the most important group of grape varieties, Burgundian varieties are documented. Feuerbach is marketed outside a large district and is assigned to the Schwanberger Land area.
