The Sonnenberg is registered as a single-vineyard site in the MainSüden area; Marktbreit is listed as the municipality for the designation. The site reaches about 221 metres above sea level and faces west. The vines grow on weathered Muschelkalk with a sand covering in a well-drained soil. The grape varieties Portugieser and Silvaner are documented.
