The documented single vineyard Weißes Kreuz covers an area of about one hectare. It is located at around 60 to 120 metres above sea level, has a sloping profile and a west to west-south-westerly aspect. The soil consists of stony slate with loam; slate and greywacke are recorded as the subsoil.

Historical reference

A document from the year 639 lists Lupstorf, the historical name of Leubsdorf, among the places that were transferred along with vineyards, forests and fishing rights to the Abbey of Nivelles. The Weißes Kreuz vineyard site is assigned to Leubsdorf, the Loreley area and the Großlage Burg Hammerstein.
