Location
Dimbach is a district of Volkach in the district of Kitzingen in Lower Franconia, Bavaria, and is therefore part of the Franken region.
Church history
The church in Dimbach is first mentioned in the year 1020. The pilgrimage church of Maria de Rosario was built in 1334 and is described by the town of Volkach as early Gothic.
Classification under wine-growing law
The Herrenfeld is an officially registered vineyard site for the Volkach district of Dimbach. The site was newly included in the vineyard register for Unterfranken in 2022 and was incorporated into the single site Volkach Kirchberg.
