Location and Terroir
Château Latour Camblanes is located in Camblanes-et-Meynac in the Cadillac–Côtes de Bordeaux appellation and overlooks the Garonne valley. The 47-hectare vineyard lies on south-facing slopes with gravelly soils.
Grape Varieties
The vineyard is planted with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. Merlot accounts for around 90 percent of the vineyard area.
Wine and Maturation
The winery produces a red still wine under the protected designation Cadillac–Côtes de Bordeaux, a geographic denomination within the framework of the Appellation Côtes de Bordeaux created in 2009. The 2018 vintage was matured in oak barrels.
History
Château Latour Camblanes was separated from Château Latresne in 1801 and has belonged to the Castel Group since 1980.
