Name and special features
The name Rosengarten is associated with the earlier occurrence of hedge roses; a local depiction assigns this designation to the 16th century. In October 2025, the designation was officially described as a single-vineyard site for Edesheim. A documented Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese vintage from 2018 was produced from selectively hand-harvested, fully ripe grapes.
