Location and surroundings
The Klosterberg is a named wine-growing site in the municipality of Platten in the Mosel wine-growing region and in the Bernkastel area. The vineyards lie on the Meisberg, whose summit is given as 361 metres above sea level. From there, the site overlooks Platten and the Wittlich Basin.
