The official vineyard register lists Grain under vineyard number 821108 and assigns the single vineyard to the grand cru Rebstöckel. For the 2024 register, 19.2 hectares of planted vineyard area are recorded.
Wines and history
Weißburgunder is bottled by Weingut Probsthof under the designation Neustadter Grain. A 2024 Neustadter Grain Weißburgunder is classified as a semi-dry Kabinett wine. The wines produced from the site are hand-harvested. The name Neustädter Grain is also documented in a wine sales advertisement dated 4 February 1927.
