Vogelsang

The Vogelsang is an officially recorded single vineyard site in the Pfalz, Mittelhaardt/Deutsche Weinstraße area, Großlage Meerspinne. The vineyard area specified in the 2024 harvest cadastre is 7.9 hectares. The single vineyard site carries the number 820921.

Vogelsang was created by a town council resolution of 19 June 2018 from a contiguous part area of the former vineyard site Mönchgarten. The deciding factors were documented differences in topography and soil: the vines in Vogelsang grow on shell limestone, whereas the other Mönchgarten areas are predominantly characterised by sandy loam and clay.
